The Dual Tracked Vehicle (DTV) Shredder is not a ride that you take to office or the parks. Designed to transverse through all types of landscapes, the bad-ass ride is developed by BPG Werks. This new type of off road vehicle combines characteristics of traditional board sports with the power of Motocross and ATVing. To use this beastly machine the rider has to stand on its foot board mounted on its tank-like body that houses a 196cc engine.
To amplify the adventure character the DTV Shredder is propelled by tank treads with rubber tracks. The rider controls the vehicle by grabbing the hand grips on its jet ski-type adjustable handle pole. Powering the DTV Shredder is powered by a 196cc single cylinder 20 degree slant 4 stroke engine. The cooling duties on the engine are performed by a ‘Forced’ Air Cooling system. The engine is capable of producing max power of 14 bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 17.6 Nm at 4,500rpm. The power is pushed to its tank treads by a DUAL-CTV Transmission system. The Shredder is capable of doing speeds up to 60 kmph. The Shredder is also available in a special edition called the DTV Shredder Trail edition.
The makers claim that the all-mechanical design, powerful engine and aggressive tank tracks allows for high-speed travel on any terrain, in any season. Also the Shredder doubles as a rugged, multi-application workhorse for law enforcement, military, hunting, farming and other industries. The company is also working on a prototype of the DTV Shredder and has named it the Shredzilla.
The Go-Faster Shredder – Shredzilla is fitted with a small 48 hp rotary engine that was small enough to fit inside the existing Shredder frame. Reworked with modifications to both strengthen and stabilize the machine, the ShredZilla is only 10% larger than our standard production model and has a top speed of around 100kmph.
