Vivo India has launched its much anticipated Vivo V5 smartphone with a 20MP Front camera. Vivo, with the V5 is focusing on differentiating itself by offering a top notch selfie camera and music experience. The V5, which is the flagship phone for the brand blends a unique “Moonlight Glow” with the 20MP front camera, and claims to deliver superior selfies.
The new “Moonlight Glow” feature throws soft, diffused light on the face while taking selfies without straining eyes, and lights up the frame in close proximity irrespective of the lighting conditions. This rids the frame of noise without flooding it with hard flash light.

The phone gets Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.6 on top. The V5 also supports an ‘Eye Protection Mode’ that filters out blue light to protect vision and prevents eye strain.
Vivo is claiming a lightning fast fingerprint sensor on the device, located on the home button and claimed to unlock the screen in just 0.2 seconds.
The V5 also gets a ‘Smart Screen-Split’ feature, which allows users to multitask without having to switch back and forth every time a message pops up. For example, users can chat and watch videos simultaneously on one screen.
Another highlight of the new Vivo V5 is its custom built Hi-Fi audio chip. The Chinese smartphone makers claims that its custom built AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip provides an unparalleled sound quality experience by giving a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 115dB.
Speaking at the launch of the flagship device, Mr. Kent Cheng, CEO, Vivo India, said, “with the launch of 115, Vivo adds a new dimension and sets its focus on emerging camera technology, thus offering an unprecedented camera experience.”
