2 months of weekly sales in India shows a record sales of more than 6,00,000 Redmi Note 3 smart phone. Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s Global VP made the announcement in Face book. He further said this is the company’s biggest record yet in this country. Of late the company had been selling the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 in open market alongwith the flagship Mi 5 smart phone

In India the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched in March. This smart phone had an all-metal body and also a fingerprint scanner at the back. The Redmi Note 3can store nearly 5 finger print profiles. Besides this the user received a 2-month free subscription to Hungama. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was available not only on Amazon and Mi.com but also from other e-commerce partners like Flipcard and Snapdeal. Some of the other features of this smart phone was that it had two memory and storage versions like 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, and other 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. . In India these two Redmi Note 3 smart phone was available at INR 9,999 and INR 11,999 respectively.
One of the most important feature of this smart phone is that it processes a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor that is four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Besides this its other features are the same as in the original. It also has a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixels IPS display which offers a viewing angle of 178-degree. It also supports 4G SIM cards of Micro as well as Nano. It runs MIUI 7 which is based on Android Lollipop.
