Two new unannounced Mi 2016030 and Mi 2015115 smart phones look identical to the current Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 respectively. It is reported that these two smart phones have cleared the Chinese telecommunications certification authority known as Tenaa. The listings disclose some specifications and images of the supposed devices codenamed as Mi 2016030 and Mi 2015115. We can see that both the smart phones come with a fingerprint scanner on their rear side panels. Soon we expect to see the successors of the current Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

According to the Tenaa listing, the Mi 2016030 comes with a 5-inch HD having 720×1280 pixels LCD display; an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz; 2GB of RAM; a 13-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera and having an inbuilt storage capacity of 16 GB. The listing claims that the Mi 2016030 will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will come with 2850mAh battery. It weighs only 143 grams and its dimensions are 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm. In a report we find that the Mi 2016030 possibly will be launched as Xiaomi Redmi 3.As the Xiaomi Redmi 3 smart phone was rated at CNY 699 that is approximately INR 7,000 at launch, we expect the alleged Redmi 3A smart phone will also be launched around this same price.

In the Tenaa listing, Redmi Note 3 which is allegedly the successor is listed as the Mi 2015115, is said to come with a 5.5-inch full-HD having 1080×1920 pixels display; powered by a hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz; 2GB of RAM, and has 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity. The smart phone is listed to feature a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The new smart phone comes with a large 4000mAh battery and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It measures 149.9x76x8.6mm and weighs around 166 grams. Last year Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 3 at CNY 899 which is approximately INR 9,500 for the 2GB RAM model.
