Xiaomi Mi 6 could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 Soc

Rumored to be unveiled at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona next month, the Xiaomi Mi 6 could very well be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, Qualcomm’s latest, most efficient and fastest chip till date. In a latest leak, the Mi 6’s AnTuTu score has crossed the 200,000 mark in the benchmarking tool’s test.

The Mi 6’s score of 210,329, although not officially posted on the tool’s website, has been shared by a Weibo user through a screenshot. If that is true, Xiaomi’s flagship could in all probability be the only other phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, the other device being the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8.

Until now, this happens to be the highest benchmark score that has been posted on AnTuTu, beating the iPhone 7 plus’ score of 172,644. The best score by an Android device, the OnePlus 3T stands far in the distance with a score of 164,523. The Mi 6 is rumored to arrive at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and is expected to be made available in three different variants, each powered by a different processor.
