Xiaomi Mi Max Variant With 16GB Storage & 2GB RAM Launched

In May, when Xiaomi launched the Mi Max, the company offered storage options at 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. But now it is observed that the company has also launched the 16GB variant. Several Chinese vendors are selling the 16GB storage/2GB RAM for CNY 1,199 which will be approximately INR 12,100 though no official announcement of the variant is made by Xiaomi . It is reported by GizmoChina that the Mi Max 16GB variant that is being sold by vendors in China is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. Besides this the Mi Max 16GB sports all the other specifications too.

 We know that the 32GB variant that comes with a 3GB RAM is powered by the same processor and is available at CNY 1,499 that is approximately INR 15,000, while the 64GB storage  that comes with 3GB RAM variant is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor is available at CNY 1,699 which is approximately INR 17,000 and the 128GB storage  which comes with 4GB RAM variant is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor is available at CNY 1,999 that is approximately INR 20,500.

Last week in India along with the MIUI 8 global ROM, Mi Max was launched. At present only the 32GB storage with 3GB RAM has been made available through flash sales on Mi.com for INR 14,999, but it is confirmed by the company that very soon at INR 19,999 the  128GB storage with 4GB RAM will be made available in the country. No word has been received as yet as to whether the 16 GB variant will be made available in India. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a metal body with a massive 6.44-inch full-HD having1080x1920 342ppi display. It comes with a 16 megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It also sports a 5 megapixel selfie camera with 85-degree wide-angle view, and a f/2.0 aperture.
