The stylish, bezel-less phone has now been launched in Dubai at AED 2999 (approx Rs. 54,500), where a Xiaomi executive revealed that the smartphone will be making its way to other markets soon. It isn’t clear if India will be one of the markets where the phone will be introduced. However, if and when it arrives, expect prices to remain competitive, almost matching the phone’s retail value in China.

With a 91.3 % screen-to-body ration, the Xiaomi Mi MIX’s key feature is its near border-less display with curved edges on top. Wrapped in a ceramic body, a notable feature of the smartphone is the piezoelectric acoustic ceramic earpiece speaker, along with a front facing ultrasonic proximity sensor. Featuring a 362 ppi, 6.4-inch display with a 1080×2040 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi MIX is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC, coupled with 4 or 6 GB of DDR4 RAM. The Mi MIX smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. It bears a 5-megapixel front camera.

Weighing 209 gms, the phone is powered by a 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It measures 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9, and supports 4G LTE.
