Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Redmi 3S and immediately the next day announced another Redmi series smart phones in China. The new smart phone announced was named Xiaomi Redmi 3X. This smart phone will be available for 899 yuan which will be approximately INR 9,151. Xiaomi Redmi 3X will be available only through China Unicom. This smart phone will be available in two color varient namely Gold and Silver.
Both the smart phones Redmi 3S and Redmi 3X are identical except for the fact that Redmi 3X comes only in 2GB RAM model while the Redmi 3S comes with a 3 GB RAM model coupled with 2GB RAM version. Xiaomi’s new smart phone Redmi 3X measures 139.7 x 69.7 x 8.5mm and weighs 146 grams, in comparison we find that the Redmi 3S measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm and weighs 144 grams. Both the smart phones comes with a 5 inch HD having 720 x 1280 pixels IPS display. Both are powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 64-bit processor. Both features Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB. Both are hybrid dual SIM based smart phone which runs on Android Lollipop based MIUI 7 operating and has a 4100 mAh battery. They come in full metal unibody design and house a fingerprint sensor located at the back.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3X sports 32GB of internal storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The smartphone comes with a 13 megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash, PDAF and a 5 megapixel secondary camera. The smart phone can be connected with the help of 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with AGS/GLONASS and Micro-USB 2.0.
