On iOS and Android apps Yahoo Mail has introduced new features, which claims to add in some personal touches to the Yahoo inbox. Compared to the Android app the iOS app has more updates. All the new updates will be available on iOS 4.5 and later versions and in the case of Android 5.0 and later versions.
To start with one of the features provided is that in iOS you now enjoy the facility of recalling an email immediately after you have accidentally hit send it by using the Undo Send function. Immediately below the Send button, at the bottom of your Inbox feed there is an Undo button which will be active for three seconds, which will provide users the chance to undo the sent mail which he has accidently send. Also with features such as animated Star button and wiggling Trashcan, Animations have got a new boost in the Yahoo Mail app for iOS. You will be able to see contact cards with information such as picture, phone number and email history when you search for contact.
On the other hand in Android app we find that Yahoo Mail is bringing Stationery which according to the need of the occasion will let you compose mails. Another features of Android app is that to let you take a glimpse of the mail it includes document preview. Home screen widgets will now let users see the number of unread messages for all accounts and mailboxes. One can also disable swiping; while spacing can be selected from super-dense to super-expanded.
