You can now buy this functional mech robot suit for $1 million on Amazon

Attention Pacific Rim lovers: If you ever dreamed of getting inside a giant mechanical suit and feeling like some sort of superhero, then you can finally realize that dream with Amazon Japan’s help and a spare $1 million.

Introducing the Kuratas, a mech robot that, despite being billed by its designers as a toy, is 12.5 feet tall, weighs 5 tons, and comes with a BB Gatling gun designed to fire 6,000 rounds per minute when the pilot smiles. Yes, when the pilot smiles. It runs on diesel and can move at 10 kilometers an hour.

The Kuratas is a passion project of Japanese blacksmith Kogoro Kurata that has been in development for several years. “I had this vision of the future for robots, which is my passion,” Kurata said in a video interview with Zoomin.TV. “It seemed unlikely that anyone would develop giant robots however long I waited. And so I thought, I might as well make one myself — that’s how it started.”

There are a few caveats though. It’s not available for discounted shipping through Amazon Prime, seemingly. It also doesn’t come with the arms, which are available separately. You arguably don’t need the arms if you just want to tool around in a giant mech robot — but if you’re going to spend a million dollars on this thing, you might as well go all the way, right?
