Amitabh Bachchan becomes the first ‘OnePlus Star’; Uses one himself too

Known as one of the most technologically updated personalities in Bollywood, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been officially announced as the Brand Ambassador for Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus. Talking about his association with a smartphone brand which is known to dish out high-end slayers at half the price, he said, “It gives me immense pleasure to be working with the most exciting technology brand in India, OnePlus, a truly disruptive technology company known for its premium quality and craftsmanship. Being a OnePlus user myself, I am thrilled to represent the brand in India and become a part of the passionate community of OnePlus fans to take the brand legacy ahead.”

An official statement, the company said, “Mr. Bachchan resonates well with the brand personality of OnePlus. Mr. Bachchan is not only the finest and the most admired actor but also a person of immense credibility. Likewise, for OnePlus, the latest flagship OnePlus 3T is rated as the best smartphone based on consumer ratings on Amazon India, showcasing the love and trust placed in the brand.”

In some product related news, the OnePlus 3T 128GB version has recently gone back on sale on Amazon at Rs.34,999. The device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro (2.35 GHz) quad core processor; Adreno 530 GPU 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB internal memory. The display is a  (5.5-inch) Optic AMOLED Full HD capacitive touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 401 PPI pixel density. Optics include, a 16MP primary camera (f/2.0 Aperture, 1.12 µm Pixel size) with PDAF,  updated Electronic (EIS) and Optical (OIS) stabilization technologies protected by a more durable sapphire glass with a 16 MP front camera (f/2.0 Aperture, 1.0 µm Pixel size) capable of capturing improved low-light selfies and videos.
