Apple to Launch 4-Inch iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3, New Watch Models in March Event

Apple has tipped that it will launch a 4-inch iPhone – dubbed iPhone 5se, an iPad Air 3 and new Apple watch models during an event in March. The 4-inch iPhone is a successor of iPhone 5s and specially for people who don’t crave for a large display. The phone is supposed to be called as the iPhone 5se- wherein ‘se’ stands for special edition. Along with it the company also plans to launch a new Apple Watch with minor improvements. It is also going to launch another watch dubbed Apple Watch 2 with major hardware improvements and design changes around September this year.

Earlier report suggested that the new 4-inch iPhone is going to have the same hardware and specification as iPhone 5s. But now reports claim that it will also have certain similarity to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. iPhone 5se will have a curved glass. The phone will be powered by A8 SoC and M8 motion processor. The phone features connectivity options likeVoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The phone will sport an 8-megapixel iSight (rear camera) along with a 1.2-megapixelfront-facing camera with sensor combinations. The phone will also feature live photos, larger panoramas and autofocus for video recording. The phone will be equipped with NFC chip to facilitate the company’s mobile payments solution – Apple Pay. It will be available in Silver, Space Gray, and Rose Gold colour variants.

Apple Watch 2 will include a FaceTime camera, an improved Processor and a better battery. It will also provide new band colour options with new bands from Hermes. The company will also be releasing WatchOS 2.2 software update.

iPad Air 3, successor to Apple’s 2014 IPad Air 2, will be launched in mid-March event. It will be powered by A9X SoC, 2GB of RAM, and camera improvements. Reports say it won’t support3D Touch display.
