Asus Zenfone 3 Max to be manufactured in India; priced at INR 12,999

Following the make in India move for the AsusZenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Go, the company is now planning to manufacture the recently launched Asus Zenfone 3 Max in India. Asus India has stated that the Zenfone 3 Max has received a good response from the domestic audience and hence to meet the expected demand of the smartphone the Make in India move is instigated. The manufacturing process will be executed at the company’s facility in Daman (Union Territory of Daman & Diu) and will commence from December 2016.

The two variants of Zenfone 3 Max, will be available in three metallic colours – Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, and Sand Gold. It is available through online shopping portals at a price of INR 12,999.

Features of the Asus Zenfone 3 Max:

  • Electronic image stabilization (EIS) system counteracts hand movements to ensure the resulting videos are stable and shake-free.
  • Both versions are equipped with a 4100 mAh lithium-polymer battery
  • OTG cable for reverse charging and File Transfers.
  • Fingerprint sensor registers up to five separate fingerprints
