Taiwan based phone maker ASUS will launch its latest handset for the Indian market on February 7. Featuring a massive 5000 mAh battery, the ASUS ZenFone 3S Max’s pricing and availability details will be revealed on the same day.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, the ZenFone 3S will be available in shades of Black and Gold. Its aluminum body shell features a fingerprint scanner that has been embedded in the Home button. ASUS claims the super swift scanner allows for the phone to be unlocked in 0.5 seconds and can recognize up to 5 fingers.

The 3S Max features a 5.2-inch HD display which is covered under 2.5D glass, has a contoured edge and features a built-in Bluelight filter. Powering the phone is a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The handset supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB). The ZenFone 3S Max sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens, and dual-LED real-tone flash. The front snapper is an 8-megapixel lens. The dual-SIM ZenFone 3S Max supports reverse charging capability, meaning, it can act as a power bank for other smartphones when required.
