Letv – A Chinese origin technology company founded in November 2004, will be entering the Indian markets under its expansion strategy in January 2016. Letv is among the largest online video streaming companies in China. A multi-platform internet engine called “Le Ecosystem” is integrated across video streaming, cloud, content, application and smart device businesses. The company has sent invites to the media for a preview event wherein one or more products are expected to be showcased.
The mobile series from Letv, “Le Mobile” is a series of sleek, stylish, powerful and high-end superphones i.e. Le 1, Le 1s, Le Max and Le Pro. 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTekHelio X10 processor and 3GB of RAM powers the phone. It gives the user an amazing experience. It also has the world’s first mirror-surfaced fingerprint recognition that enables flash recognition in less than 0.15 seconds and has a very high identification accuracy of 99.3%. It also allows for a 360° touch in order to unlock the phone, with five fingerprints option. Apart from the mobile series, Letv may also showcase their affordable range of televisions to India. The model Le Super TV 4K smart TV X3-55 Pro has a display of 55 inches with a resolution of 3840 X 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex A17 processor and a 3GB of RAM. It comes with the Letv’s Super Remote Control v3.0 that features four-direction navigation buttons along with a built-in microphone for voice control. Letv’s Super Tv is one of the best sellers of China with about 4 million units sold in just 36 months. This model was recently launched in the US under the company’s expansion strategy and is doing amazingly well in the country.
