Launched just yesterday, the Lenovo P2 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 (4GB RAM Variant) and is exclusively available on Flipkart. However, the e-tailer has rolled out an exchange offer, under which, it is offering a discount of up to Rs. 15,000 in exchange for your old phone. Essentially then, if your old phone qualifies (Highest exchange price is offered for the iPhone 6), you may be able to buy a brand new Lenovo P2 for just Rs. 2,999! The offer is valid on the phone’s Grey colored, 4GB RAM, 32 GB storage variant. A 3GB RAM variant has also been launched at Rs. 16,999.
Powered by a 5100 mAh battery, the Lenovo P2 is claimed to offer a standby time of up to 62 hours, web surfing time of 16 hours, continuous video playback of up to 18 hours and music playback of up to 22 hours. With a 24W Rapid Charge, the battery refills itself till 4000mAh within 60 minutes, also giving you 10 hours of battery life with a 15 minute charge.
The Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920*1080) Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, the phone sports a 13 MP rear camera (Sony sensor) with flash and PDAF, while at the front you get a 5MP lens. The smartphone gets a fingerprint scanner at the front along with NFC and Dual nano SIM with 4G LTE support.
Finished in a metal frame on the sides, and sporting a metal finished back panel, the phone is available in shades of ‘Champagne Gold and ‘Graphite Grey’. The Lenovo P2 also features a One-Key power saver, which saves battery life with the flip of a switch.
