Gionee has introduced a new member to their S series with the all new S6 Pro. This latest entrant will be available across India for sale starting 1 October 2016 at a price of INR 23,999. Along with the S6 Pro, the company introduced their all new VR headset that will be sold separately for INR 2,499. The device will be available in colour variants of Gold and Rose Gold. To make the deal attractive, Saavn will provide a free three-month subscription of ‘Saavn Pro’ to S6 Pro users.
The Gionee S6 Pro gets a metallic uni-body and a 3D camberline back. On the front is a 5.5-inch FullHD display with a real-time pixel processing engine that is capable in controlling sharpness, contrast and colour, to enhance picture quality. Inside the device is powered by 64-bit Octa-core 1.8GHz Processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.
The front camera is a 8MP unit assisted by a F/2.2 aperture and screen flash. The rear 13MP units packs a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor, a F/2.0 aperture & 5P lens. All of this hardware is assisted by a 3130 mAh battery. Other features of the S6 Pro include – 4G and VoLTE support, fingerprint scanner, and video editor.
