Huawei launches Honor 5X, Holly 2 Plus in India starting from INR 8,499

Huawei is a Chinese information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider. It recently on Thursday launched two smart phones Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus in the Indian market. Honor 5X is priced around US $ 192 which is equivalent to INR 12,999. It will be available in three colour variants – gold, silver and grey. The other phone Holly 2 Plus priced around US $ 125 which is approximately INR 8,499. Holly 2 Plus will also be available in three colour variants- black, white and gold. Both the phones are available for pre-orders on Flipkart and Amazon. The sale of Honor 5X will be starting from 1st February 2016 while sale of Holly 2 Plus starts from 15th February 2016.

Honor 5X has a 5.5-inch high-definition display coupled with 2G RAM. The phone is powered by a T6735 4×1.3GHz processor. The phone is a dual-sim smart phone with nano-SIM, micro-SIM, and microSD card slots. The device features a rim-free touch fingerprint sensor. The phone sports 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1+ HUAWEI EMUI 3.1 Lite. The phone also features 16GB in-built memory.

Holly 2 Plus smart phone is powered by a 64-bit high-speed processor. The phone has a 2GB RAM with an internal storage of 16GB that can be expanded through a MicroSD card. The phone packs a 4,000 mAH battery with reverse charging feature that enables you to share your power with your friend with the help of a Micro-B USB to Micro-B USB cable. The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.

George Zhao, president (Honor), mentioned in a statement that with these continued launches, the company wants to reiterate their commitment to the Indian market and commit to continue to strive to offer world class consumer experience that addresses local needs of their consumers.
