Intel India expands education solutions: to boost use of technology

Intel India has announced its latest initiative which aims to strengthen the use of technology in the education ecosystem. The company is aiming to accelerate the penetration of technology in the country’s education sector. This is in an effort to contribute to the Government’s Digital India vision. At an event titled ‘Education Solutions Technology Framework’ Conclave, which was jointly organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the company highlighted that it is collaborating with leading device manufacturers, education digital content and publishers, as well as education solution providers, to build end-to-end solutions that promote the use of technology in India’s education sector.

Taking this collaboration forward, Intel has made available the Intel® Pentium® Processor A1020 to the leading device manufacturer partners. This processor is known to deliver power savings and is also optimal for devices designed for running education applications, especially in semi-urban and rural India. The initiative aims to tap on the comprehensive ecosystem of vendors to deliver one-stop solutions. In the future, any educational institute looking to implement technology solutions will be able to deploy the technology-based solutions in a faster and more efficient manner. Intel’s backend infrastructure will also enable devices and solutions to connect and thus provide a seamless education experience to the student and teacher community, as well as to the school managements.
