According to a retailer based in Mumbai, Intex has reportedly launched two new Aqua-series phones in India, the Aqua Wing and Aqua Raze. The retailer claims that the Intex Aqua Wing and Intex Aqua Raze smart phones are now available to buy in India and they are priced at INR 4,599 and INR 5,199 respectively. Notably, Intex hasn’t yet announced or listed the devices officially in India. The retailer Mahesh Telecom on Monday posted the specifications and price of the Aqua Wing and Aqua Raze smart phones, and noted that the devices were in stock already.
According to the details shared by the retailer, the Intex Aqua Wing will feature a 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera, 1500 mAh battery, and will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The Aqua Raze, on the other hand, is said to feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 1800 mAh battery, and run Android 5.1 Lollipop. Unfortunately, not all specifications have been detailed by the retailer, which further raised questions related to the authenticity of the products. Both the Aqua Wing and Intex Aqua Raze phones are said to come in Black and White colour variants.
Last month, Intex launched the entry-level Aqua Air II smart phone, priced at Rs. 4,690. The Intex Aqua Air II is a dual-SIM smart phone running the dated Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) TFT display and also sports Corning Gorilla Glass for protection from scratches. Powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6572W processor clocked at 1.2GHz, the Aqua Air II comes with 1GB of RAM.
