Intex has unveiled its new smart phone, which will be available for INR 8,999. This new smart phone is named Intex Aqua View. It is a smart phone with the company’s first virtual reality cardboard that is the Eyelet. In India Intex Aqua View will be available in two colors variants namely Grey and White colour. The company’s first VR cardboard is a Google certified VR viewer, is touted by the company.Customers can purchase this new smart phone from offline retailers in the country.
The Intex Aqua View features an inbuilt cardboard app. The Eyelet is based on the second version of the Google cardboard is explained by the domestic handset make. Therefore it will work with any handset that supports gyroscope and accelerometer sensors. The company also states that a smart phone with a screen size of 6 inches can be supported by the Eyelet cardboard. Intex Aqua View comes with a fingerprint sensor on the home button. This dual SIM smart phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and sports a 5 inch HD having 720×1280 pixel IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC, along with 2GB of RAM. It comes with an 8 megapixel primary auto focus camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. It has 16GB of inbuild storage capacity which can be expanded upto 32 GB with the help of a microSD card. It can be connected with 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
