Is The OnePlus 3 coming with its own fast charging tech?

The upcoming flagship device OnePlus 3 might just as well be released with the company’s proprietary quick charging technology called Dash Charge. This might be the company’s first smart phone to feature quick charging capability. According to a report released by PocketNow, the Chinese startup has filed for a trademark protection of a feature called ‘Dash Charge’. While it is way too early to comment whether the OnePlus 3 will include a support for wireless charging, the term ‘Dash Charge’ definitely hints at quick charge support.

Now with the launch date nearing fast, the OnePlus 3 is expected to come in two storage versions with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM respectively. According to another report that has been spotted online, the OnePlus 3 might be launched on May 28. The same report quoted a GeekBench listing with 6 GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. As per the rumours that are doing the rounds, this time the company has worked a lot on the design element of the handset. The leaked images that have surfaced do highlight quite a different design. The smart phone in the images flaunts curvier edges as compared to the earlier models. A dedicated camera button on the side panel is also seen.
