Itel Mobile is marching ahead with its growth by recording sales of 1 million handsets in India. The company achieved this milestone within couple of month of its operational launch. Itel has launched 15 products so far include eight feature phone and seven smartphones and are aimed at empowering the country’s consumer base with value-plus mobile-based connectivity solutions. In accordance to the same, Itel launched a new text-to-speech app for their devices recently. Itel Mobile is also recognised as the 51st in Brand Africa 100 Most Admired Brands 2015 by Africa Business Magazine.

itel currently has tie-ups with 325 distributors in the country and the number of itel retailers stands at around 25000. Itel Mobile will also open 1,000 service centres across the country by the end of 2016. Consumers are currently offered a 100-day replacement warranty on all their products. itel Mobile entered into the Indian market with a variety of communication devices, which include feature phones priced at less than INR 2000 and value-added smartphones available for less than INR 10000.
