On Tuesday, Karbonn Mobiles unveiled its new Aura Power smart phone. This smart phone will be available for INR 5,990. With its Aura Power smart phone the domestic smart phone manufacturer is trying to target the growing 4G subscriber base.
In India, the Karbonn Aura Power comes with 4G LTE bands, that is the FDD LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The highlight of this smart phone is that it features VoLTE that is voice over LTE with HD voice call compatibility. The Aura Power comes with a 5 inch FWVGA having 480 x 854 pixels IPS display. This smart phone has dual SIM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. But at a time it can support only 4G on one SIM. It features an 8 megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash, and a 2 megapixel secondary facing camera. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The Aura Power comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 8GB which can be expandedup to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card.
Karbonn Aura Power comes with a 4000 mAh non removable battery, that offers up to 17 hours of talk-time and up to 1200 hours of standby time. This smart phone can be connected GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS, apart from 4G. This smart phone that measures 141 x 71.2 x 10 mm and weighs 175 grams will be available in two color variants namely Champagne and Dark Blue colors. Earlier this month, Karbonn Mobiles had introduced new entry level Karbonn A91 Storm smart phone which are available for INR 2,899. This smart phone which is listed on the company site will be available to customers through e-commerce websites.
