Invitations for the June 8 event is being send out by LeEco. It is expected that in this event they will launch their new smart phones namely Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and Le Max 2 in India. In April the company had launched their three new smart phones in China. Soon these phones are expected to be made available in India, too. The company advertises that theirs is the first smart phone company, who have thrown away the 3.5mm audio jack and instead adopted a USB Type-C port.
The Le 2, Le 2 Pro and, Le Max 2 run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Emotion UI 5.6.01 skin on top. In China, the Le 2 was launched at CNY 1,099 that is roughly INR 11,200, while the Le 2 Pro was launched at CNY 1,399 that is roughly INR. 14,300 while the Helio X20 variant was launched at CNY 1,499 which is approximately INR 15,300. The cost of these smart phones in India will be declared at the event when it will be launched.
The Le Max 2 features three memory and storage variants of 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage CNY 2,099 is approximately INR 21,500, while the second variant has 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage CNY 2,299 is approximately INR 23,500, and the third variant has 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage options CNY 2,499 is approximately INR 25,600. The Le 2 features a a 5.5-inch bezel-less HD display, a 2.3GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC along with 3GB of RAM and Mali GPU.It is powered with a 16-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel secondary camera, and 32GB of internal storage. The Le 2 Pro features a 21-megapixel primary camera, and offers options of a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC or a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor. While the Le Max 2 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD bezel-less display, 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.
