The company’s new variant of the Le 1s smart phone called the LeEco Le 1s Eco is now going up for its first sale. The flash sale of the new device will kick off at 1pm IST on Thursday and will thereafter be available via Flipkart for those users who had registered for the sale. As it was earlier announced during the India launch of the handset, the new smart phone will be made available at a special introductory price of INR 9,999 during its first flash sale and 100,000 units will be available. The new LeEco Le 1s Eco smart phone is actually priced at INR 10,899 and it comes with a free 1-year subscription to LeEco Membership. This membership is priced at INR 4,900. According to the company, the ‘Made for India’ and ‘Made in India’ smart phone will support 10 Indian languages.
The device features a 5.5-inch full-HD with 1080 x 1920 pixel. It comes wih In-cell IPS LCD display with 500-nit brightness and a pixel density of 403ppi. The device comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop-based EUI interface. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC which is clocked at 1.85 GHz. This is coupled with 3 GB of RAM.
The new smart phone boasts a 13 megapixel primary camera complete with a flash and a 5 megapixel secondary camera. The device comes with 32 GB of onboard storage, and a mirror-surfaced fingerprint sensor. This sensor has a 99.3 percent precision rate. The device is powered with a 3000 mAh battery. According to the company, a SuperCharge feature is provided, which in 5 mins of charging can provide a talk time of 3.5 hours. The device uses the USB Type-C port on the Le 1s Eco to charge the battery.
