Motorola is gearing up for the imminent launch of its latest G series smartphones, the Moto G55 5G and Moto G35 5G, in India. Although the company has yet to make an official announcement, recent leaks have shed light on the key specifications and color options of these upcoming devices. According to the latest reports, both models will be available in three distinct colorways and offer multiple RAM and storage configurations, positioning them as solid upgrades over their predecessors.

Key Specifications and Variants of Moto G55 5G and Moto G35 5G

Leaked information from tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, in collaboration with 91Mobiles, reveals that the Moto G55 5G will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is expected to launch in three color options: grey, green, and purple, with additional finishes potentially on the horizon. This model is anticipated to bring significant enhancements over last year’s Moto G54 5G, offering users more powerful hardware and expanded storage capabilities.

Similarly, the Moto G35 5G is tipped to come in multiple configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and a top-tier model featuring 8GB of RAM coupled with 256GB of storage. The color options for this model are expected to include black, green, and red, providing a range of choices for consumers. The Moto G35 5G has already made appearances on benchmarking platforms like Geekbench and has been listed in an IMEI database, suggesting that its launch is just around the corner.

The device is rumored to house a 5,000mAh battery supporting 20W fast charging, and it could be powered by the Unisoc T760 chipset, aimed at delivering a balanced performance for everyday tasks.

Successors to Popular Mid-Range Models

Both the Moto G55 5G and Moto G35 5G are expected to follow in the footsteps of the Moto G54 and Moto G34, which were launched in India last year. The Moto G54 5G, which debuted in September, was priced at Rs. 15,999 for the base model featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC and came with a robust 6,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Moto G34 5G, launched in January, was priced at Rs. 10,999 for the base 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and it featured the Snapdragon 695 SoC alongside a 5,000mAh battery.

Both models featured 6.5-inch displays and dual rear camera setups with 50-megapixel primary sensors, making them popular choices in the budget smartphone segment.

With the upcoming launch of the Moto G55 5G and Moto G35 5G, Motorola seems poised to strengthen its foothold in the competitive mid-range market, offering enhanced features and stylish design options to attract a broad audience. Further details, including official pricing and availability, are expected to be announced soon.
