One of the major problems faced by a few smartphone users is inadequate phone memory. Another solution is clearing or deleting of frequently used applications and data.
A US based company, Nextbit has come up with a new smart phone, Robin. The smart phone Robin from Nextbit comes with a first of a kind of cloud based storage feature. The smart phone Robin automatically helps users in managing the mobile storage with minimal input and effort, thus making the phone never short of mobile storage. Whenever the phone storage reaches a capacity of 1.5 GB, it automatically backs up the frequently used apps to the cloud storage, thus making the mobile never fall out of memory. This is done only when the user has connected to a Wi-Fi. All applications that are on the cloud storage are displayed with a shadow icon. Cloud backed applications can be made available back onto the mobile storage by clicking the shadow icon. The application will then be reinstalled on the device.
The Robin comes with a Snapdragon processor and 3 GB of RAM that runs on Android OS. It has a 5.2 inch IPS LCD Gorilla Glass 4 display screen having a resolution of 1080 pixels. The battery is 2680mAh that can last through the day. It comes with 2 cameras, a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with phase detection autofocus and a dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for perfect selfies. It comes with 32GB of on-board storage and 100 GB of online cloud storage. Other features include dual front facing speakers, fingerprint sensor for secure access control, NFC, Quick Charging, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. The phone is available for pre-order at around US $ 400 and is expected to be delivered to customers by February 2016.
