A successor to the Nubia Z11 Mini, which was launched in India last year, a new Nubia Z17 Mini is all set to be launched in China on March 21st. According to rumors, the phone will be launched in two variants – with 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 652 SoC and the other with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 653 SoC.
The Nubia N17 Mini is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, while leaked information suggests that optics will include a dual-lens rear camera, 13MP each with Sony IMX258 sensors. The front snapper will be a 16MP lens. The Nubia N17 Mini will come in two colours – Black and Gold. However, there will be another Blue colour variant with 4GB RAM and a Snapdragon 653 SoC.
The N17 Mini will come with 64GB internal storage and will be powered by a 3000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 technology. There will also be a USB Type-C port and fingerprint sensor in the device. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Nubia Z17 Mini is expected to be priced at 1,899 Yuan which is approximately Rs 18,172 for 4GB variant with Snapdragon 652.
In India, the company had launched the Nubia N1 with 3GB RAM last month at Rs 12,499. Powering the device is a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8 Ghz, which is supported by 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable till 128GB via a microSD card). It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, with Nubia 4.0UI on top. The display is a 401 ppi, 5.5-inch screen that supports 1920×1080 resolution and is covered under 2.5D arc glass.
