OnePlus 3 and 3T get Android 7.0 Nougat update

Talk about keeping promises and keeping them in style. After promising users of the OnePlus 3 and 3T that an Android 7.0 Nougat update will be rolled out for the phones before the end of 2016, OnePlus started beaming out an update on the last day of the year.

OnePlus CEO Carl Pei tweeted, “Many members of our R&D are not taking any time off to celebrate New Year. But we all feel proud to finally deliver on our promises.” In another tweet, he mentioned, “Android N stable OTA for the OP3 and OP3T. Gradual rollout will begin later tonight.

The update will bring a new notification design, a new settings menu design, multi-window view, Notification Direct Reply, Custom DPI Support, Added Status Bar Icon Option, Improved Shelf Customization and many more new features which are native to Android 7.0.
