There is a lot of similarity in the story of the bright child who displays great potential early in life and the story of OnePlus. Suddenly, OnePlus One emerged to show the world that great hardware could be achieved even at low cost. The OnePlus Two was a device that thought it knew best and made unusual decisions. Some of these decisions like the new charging standard were successful while some decisions like the omission of NFC were unsuccessful.
But today OnePlus has learned from their experience and grown up. They have selected the sharp silver suit and ditched the snazzy sandstone threads. They have also started attending the smart phone party without waiting for an invitation. Thus we find that the OnePlus 3 has learned from experience and seems pretty exciting.
Though OnePlus 3 looks a little HTC-like in terms of design, we find that the OnePlus 3 has more in common with the OnePlus One. This phone looks like it has been on a diet, and the svelte profile has left a camera bump on the rear as compared to the beefy second generation. The right-side of this smart phone sports the power button and the dual nano-SIM tray. It does not have a microSD support and the phone has an internal storage capacity of only 64GB, while the left side sports volume control and the alert slider. Without unlocking the device, the textured alert slider lets users switch between silent, all notifications or priority notifications. Below the display is the fingerprint sensor, which is also a capacitive button, and without needing to turn on the display first it can unlock the device in one go.
