The OnePlus 3T has been launched in India. Two variants of the 3T including 64GB and 128 GB will be up for sale from 14 December 2016 for prices at INR 29,999 (64GB) and INR 34,999 (128 GB). The official tweet declares that the OnePlus 3T will be exclusively available on Amazon India from 12:01 am of the aforementioned date. The phone will be available in GunMetal and Soft Gold.

The OnePlus 3T was unveiled last month and it gathered a lot of cheer as well as criticism. The guys who were contemplating on buying the OnePlus 3 got a more powerful version of the same but the ones who already own the OP3 felt betrayed. Overall, the reception was positive. The brand replaced the power house of the phone with a much powerful and latest one and also carried out changes to some of the hardware.

The USP of the new OnePlus 3T is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC that is more powerful, faster, and power efficient than the older 820. However, dimensions and construction of the OnePlus 3T remains identical to the regular OP3. Even with a bigger 3,400mAh battery inside the weight of the phone has remained unchanged. The rear camera setup has received improvements on its Electronic Image Stabilization feature whereas the front selfie camera setup has been completely replaced. The 8MP camera with Sony IMX179 sensor has been replaced with a more capable 16MP unit with Samsung 3P8SP Sensor. So selfies are going to be better now!
The developers at OnePlus will roll out updates for the OP3 and the OP3T at the same time, with the Android Nougat coming soon, very soon!
In future news, there is noise about an upcoming OnePlus 4 being in works. Rumour has it that the OP4 will be introduced in the market somewhere in mid-2017. Well, until then the OnePlus 3T is going to rule and definitely going to find a spot in the ‘best phones’ lists.
