Finally the unsettling mystery of the new device from the never settling brand, OnePlus has come to an end. The ‘powerfully beautiful’ OnePlus X has finally been globally launched at an event held in India. Priced below their current flagship killers, the OnePlus X, according to the Chinese electronics company, is the company’s first ‘made in India’ smartphone! The device has been introduced in two variants, Onyx and the limited edition Ceramic.

On the first take both the versions look alike but the Ceramic version looks slightly different. The noticeable difference is on the rear and the bezels.  The Onyx has a dark glass rear panel while the ceramic version wears a panel crafted from Zirconia sand is a tad heavier than the onyx variant. The device is put together in a metal frame made from brushed anodized aluminium with chamfered edges and features intricate etchings. The dual speaker grilles and the USB port are placed on the bottom panel like an iPhone!! (The metaphor is inescapable.)
