OPPO Electronics Corp. is a Chinese electronics manufacturer that is based in Dongguan, Guangdong. It has announced the launch of a limited edition handset – Oppo F1 ICC WT20, at INR 17,990 which is equivalent to USD 267. The phone will be available in Gold colour variant. The company has also provided its fans with an opportunity to win the limited ICC WT20 edition phone during the T20 matches. Oppo has entered into a partnership with International Cricket Council (ICC). It has made ICC its global partner in the mobile phone category for a period of 4 years starting from 2016. A similar partnership agreement has also been signed with FC Barcelona for a period of 3 years.
The phone has a a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel (294ppi). The phone is also protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 coating. Oppo F1 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor. The device has a 3GB RAM with 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with the use of a microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has Color 2.1 launcher on top. The phone features a 13MP rear camera along with a single LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfie lovers. The front camera also offers additional features like live color filters, Beauty 3.0 and more. It packs in a 2,500mAh battery that completes the package.
