Reliance Launches Lyf Flame 4 at INR 3,999

Reliance Retail seems on a launching spree aided with the impending launch of their 4G services. It has launched yet another smart phone in India, the Lyf Flame 4 and has priced it at INR 3,999. It is an entry level smart phone with basic features. The smart phone is currently listed on the company website and will be available via offline stores in its Black colour variant. The device comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports two SIM cards, Micro-SIM and regular SIM. Both the slots are 4G enabled, however, only one card slot supports 4G at a time, with the second slot only supporting 2G.

The new Lyf Flame 4 sports a 4-inch display supporting 480×800 pixels with a pixel density of 225ppi and Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core SoC, which is coupled with a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, and 512 MB of RAM. The smart phone bears a 2 megapixel primary camera with an LED flash, and a VGA secondary camera. The device comes with an 8 GB of built-in storage, which is also expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card. Connectivity options for the phone include 4G, with support for both Indian brands with VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB.

The new Lyf Flame 4 is powered by a 1400 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 4.5 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. The device measures 122.5 x 64.4 x 10.25 mm, and weighs 117 grams. One can also buy the phone from Home Shop 18. The biggest highlight of the Flame 4 smart phone is that it supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. The device supports both 4G LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz).
