Previously known for audio-based smart features, the Hong Kong-based brand is now integrating advanced artificial intelligence and computer vision capabilities into its devices.

According to a report by 9to5Google, the Solos AirGo Vision is set to be the brand’s inaugural camera-equipped smart glasses, expected to launch later this month. These glasses will come integrated with OpenAI’s latest AI model, GPT-4o, providing enhanced computer vision features. Additionally, the device will support Google Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude AI, broadening its AI functionalities.
Advanced AI and Computer Vision Features
The integration of GPT-4o enables the AirGo Vision to analyze and interpret images captured by the on-device camera. Users can expect the AI to recognize locations, objects, and surroundings, providing detailed information about the images. This functionality is akin to having a personal assistant capable of understanding and contextualizing visual data.
The smart glasses will feature a camera on the right side of the frame, similar to the design of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. These cameras will allow users to capture images and record videos, with the AI analyzing and offering insights based on the visual content.
