Several days ago, the leakage of Vernee Apollo’s price $399.99 has amazed all the media and customers worldwide. Now, the company has come up with another Vernee smart phone Thor, that is aimed at middle level market. This phone also boasts of many highlights as well. Some of the prominent ones that have been confirmed by the company are as follows.

The FIDO (Fast IDentity Online) Alliance was formed in July 2012 to address the lack of interoperability among strong authentication devices as well as the problems users face with creating and remembering multiple usernames and passwords. The FIDO Alliance plans to change the nature of authentication by developing specifications that define an open, scalable, interoperable set of mechanisms that supplant reliance on passwords to securely authenticate users of online services. This new standard for security devices and browser plugins will allow any website or cloud application to interact with a broad variety of existing and future FIDO-enabled devices that the user has for online security. However, A spokesperson from FIDO Alliance has informed us that the device isn’t supported officially by the company. This certainly questions the relevance of Vernee’s claims.

The phone is expected to be launched in April 2016 and Vernee has confirmed the presence of an MT 6753 8 Core LTE chipset for the device. It is expected to be launched with a 5.0 inch HD on-cell arc display. The performance of the device will be supported by a 3 GB LC DDR3 RAM. On the camera front, the features seem to be in line with the standard offering these days with a 13 megapixel shooter at the back and a 5 megapixel device for selfies and video conferences and chats.

The phone is expected to be powered by a 2800 mAh battery with a 2A quick charge supporting charger along with it. The launch price for the device has been confirmed at US $129 by the company and the specifications seem to match that kind of price level.
