It probably is someone goofing up, but it can’t happen all the time. And the rate at which these leaks happen before an important product launch makes it look like a deliberate attempt to keep the hype on simmer. A new promo video boasting about the awesomeness in Samsung’s new AMOLED display is out. However, it has led the internet to believe that the phone it places itself on, happens to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8.
If that is true though, the phone could well continue Samsung’s trend of offering a flat and another curved edge display variant. It could also mean that the Galaxy S8 has truly lost the ‘Home’ button and will feature a near bezel-less design. Featuring very thin bezels at the top and bottom with no capacitive buttons, the phone could also feature a rumored Optical fingerprint sensor.
More recent rumors about the phone suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will lose the 3.5mm jack. In addition, the phone will almost certainly be powered by Qualcomm’s finest yet, a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, top-notch optics and a lot more.
