Vivo to launch X6S and X6S Plus

Vivo, the Chinese smart phone maker is soon to launch two new smart phones – X6S and X6S Plus. These phones are expected to be the successors to the current lineup of X6 and X6 Plus models. The images of the upcoming models released by the company do not show any marked difference between them and the older models. They appear to be exactly the same. The company has not yet revealed any details regarding its pricing or availability. It remains to be seen when the new models hit the market and what price range will they be placed in.

The company seems to have focused once again on audio delivery and music, with the two new devices as well. The new Vivo X6S smart phone is expected to come with a Yamaha YSS-205X signal processor. In the insides, the phone boasts of a AKM4375 32-bit DAC. On the other hand, the Vivo X6S Plus is expected to come with an ES9028 DAC. These features are sure to make the smart phones purely music centric and the audio delivery of the devices is also expected to be top notch.  Vivo has certainly taken efforts to make its devices distinguished from other music centered devices.

The X6S is expected to come with a 5.2 inch super Amoled display and the elder sibling X6S Plus, with a 5.7 inch super Amoled display. Both the phones have similar chipsets working on the insides. An Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is expected to take charge while coupled with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt storage. No Micro SD support is expected on these devices. On the camera front, the X6S is expected to come with a 13 megapixel unit while the bigger smart phone is expected to carry a 16 megapixel unit. Apart from the usual connectivity options the phones are also expected to receive a 2400 mAh and 3000 mAh battery respectively.
